Wrestling Season

Wrestling is a Winter sport in Dekalb County, running from October-February.

Practice

During the season, practice takes place every day after school from 3:30-5:30 pm in the Wrestling Room above the Gymnasium.

During practice, wrestlers condition, learn moves, and practice sparring.

History

Wrestling at Lakeside High School has a celebrated history going back to 2006. In the course of the team’s journey, the Viking Wrestlers have won their way to competing in:

• 17 Varsity Dekalb County Tournaments

• 4 JV Dekalb County Tournaments

• 6 Varsity State Championships
